I hope you're right. However, Fredi has proven himself to be a stubborn person when it comes to making changes.

Might take another week at most (assuming La Stella is still hitting and walking), but I think it's due to happen because I think La Stella will remain consistent, while BJ despite hitting the ball hard will drop down some.

I'm more worried about when Fred is going to finally move CJ to 8 until he proves he can NOT strikeout so much and hit.

    Heyward
    TLS
    Freeman
    Justin
    Gattis
    Simmons
    CJ

Justin and Freeman could be interchanging in the 3/4 IMO depending on L-R if you want.

Yeah. If Heyward and La Stella are hitting 1-2, I would have Justin hit 3rd.

    Gattis/Laird

I would just love to see that top five. After that, who cares?

Maybe not so much veteran leadership in the 5-hole, though.

Veteran leadership carries a lot of weight in my book.

I'm surprised that carrying all of that veteran leadership around hasn't killed his knees yet.

I still think it would be better to split the 3 LHers up a little more. I would go with:

    TLS
    Justin
    Heyward
    Gattis
    Freeman
    BJ
    Simmons
    pitcher
    CJ

This is probably what I would go with. Top 3 spots for our top 3 hitters. Then Gattis, TLS, and simba with some rbi chances.

I'll keep Heyward leadoff because he seems comfortable, that's about it. I'd prefer TLS there, but consistency is always needed with us.
    SO:

    Heyward
    JUP
    Freeman
    Gattis
    TLS
    BJ
    CJoh
    Simba

I am a big CJ fan and supporter. (Hard to believe I am positive?)

Anyway he needs to be dropped in the order until he figures it out. I know he will start hitting, but until then he needs to hitting lower in the lineup.

    Jason
    Justin
    Freddie
    Gattis
    Tommy Gun
    CJ
    Simba
    BJ
    Pitcher

Only reason why CJ hits 6th instead of Simmons is to break up CJ, BJ, and the pitcher.

Why are people still complaining about B. Upton? The guy seems to be hitting into a lot of bad luck. Seems like he's hitting line drives all over the place.

Maybe because he is one of the top four paid CFers in the game, but his production is in the bottom four.

Sorry, but if you guys can't use your eyes and see that the dude has been killing the ball lately I don't know what else to say. Stats don't say everything.

I can get on board with a top 5 of Heyward, Justin, Freeman, Gattis, TLS.

The bottom half doesn't really matter, but I would like to see a position player hitting 9th so they are batting in front of the best hitters at the very top of the lineup.

CJ would be my pick to hit 9th because he will have a lot less chances to hit into a DP with the pitcher getting out and/or bunting right in front of him.

BJ hitting 5th might be good so he can steal in front of the singles hitters, especially if TLS hits 6th.

    So...

    Heyward
    Justin
    Freeman
    Gattis
    BJ
    TLS
    Simmons
    pitcher
    CJ
