Kind of silly looking at the Braves and Freeman just towers over the rest of our position players. Only player within a respectable distance of him is Ender,
Looking at all semi-regular players for the BRaves (minimum 250 PA) so guys who started for some stretches.
Freeman has a 5.7 fWAR, the rest have a 5.3 fWAR (though mainly due to the pure ass of Aybar and Pierzynski)
When you add all our part timers and pitchers you see Freeman at 5.7 and the rest at 4.2.
WAR of course includes defense. When looking at offensive numbers Freddie is worth 41.5 RAR batting, The rest of the team -144.6. The next closest companion to Freeman is Matt Kemp at 3.9. In fact, offensively only 4 BRaves are above 1, and 6 above a 0, sadly one of them is a pitcher.
Freeman is truly a god among men right now, we need to bring in someone to play close to his level.
