Trump Indictment Watch

McDaniel, a Michigan native and the leader of the Republican Party nationally, said at another point in the call, "If you can go home tonight, do not sign it. ... We will get you attorneys."

To which Trump added: "We'll take care of that."

seems like subordination of election fraud to me

the same thang we saw happen in Georgia

the law grinds slowly but surely

Nah dude, Republicans would be totally cool if Biden was calling election workers and pressuring them to not certify the election because Trump won.

Why should the President be against enforcing the constitution. All I have seen from Biden is him saying he believes Trump is an insurrectionist. Which is just a fraction of all the bad **** Trump has called Biden. Where has he cheered the decision. He has every right to after Trump said Biden shouldn't be allowed to run on 2020 and tried to weaponize law enforcement to try to cheat on the election.

I think the plan is to use the law to add to the sense of grievance which has caused his supporters to rally around him. Help him win the nomination. A trap in slow motion.

It's not against the law to "pressure" people. If it was democrats would be sitting in the jail cells after 2016. Do yourself a favor and look up "faithless electors 2016". That was way bigger than anything Trump did.

States have different laws. Some states it can result in imprisonment, some just fines, others just removal. The majority of faithless electors on 2016 were against Hillary not even Trump. Some people did file lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of faithless electors which is the appropriate way to go about it. Also Trump isn't indicted for this call in Michigan.

It depends on whether or not the thang you are pressuring them to do is legal.

It would've been genius if it had worked: Claiming election fraud that was actually non-existent while committing real election fraud.
