Are the 65ish million people of Latino descent in the United States considered "White," "Black," or both in that dataset?
They do and don't forget blacks are not being arrested for shoplifting in the inner city so that figure is much higher and not in the data.
Great catch and based on the buckets with underlying amounts the answer is undoubtedly in the white bucket primarily.

Poor people commit crimes disproportionate to their percent of the population. Black people are disproportionately poor. Thats not breaking news. White people commit more crimes by virtue of being the majority of the population. Which makes my reply to Sturg correct. Lets remember this started by you being upset a news article about theft didnt have a black man in the picture. Thats what you came on the internet to complain about.

They put an Asian woman on the story when anyone with common sense knows who commits the most crime. And echoing aces point the “white” number dare as I say is poisoned with Hispanics committing lots of crime as well.
