Desperately trying to keep this demo voting for him
If you pay 100 dollars in taxes and they give you 100 dollars back is that giving you money or just giving you your tax money back? All these people will inevitably pay more in taxes over their lifetime than the loaned amount.

What's the tax rebate for non-student loan holders?
It may come as a surprise to you. But over their lifetimes, people who take out student loans transfer significant amounts of money to those who don't go to college via various federal transfer mechanims. Just like New York and other blue states ship boatloads of money to Mississippi and other red states. Y'all very welcome. No need for flowers or a thank you note.
What if i told you everyone that doesn't go to college isn't poor and everyone that went to school isn't wealthy?
It's still unclear to me (actually it's very clear), why student loans are the debt that must be forgiven, vs every other type of debt

Very basic analysis here that lumps in people who are able to pay off their loans because of their success and do the things you mention above versus the useless people who can't pay of their loans that on average provide nothing to the tax pools.
My daily reminder that that the mere fact that these loans must be forgiven is an indictment of the uselessness of the product it was used for
Yes but the surgeon who took out 250K in loans, paid it back, now has a contract making 750K a year is good enough reason to pay back the loans of kids that took womens studies!!!
IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!
The worst part of this is how much of a chump I feel like for paying my wife's $200K off right away.
I told a friend with a daughter going to college the same.
You'd be a moron to pay cash for university fees, housing, etc right now.
Borrow it and let it roll. Worst case that money accrues in a stock acct or 529.
Yeah. The principles I was taught growing up just aren't the principles of today's ruling class. Responsibility and discipline make you the butt of the joke
