Donald Trump takes meetings and donations from tik toks largest investor, then immediately calls for backing off tik tok (similar to what he did with Disney and bud light), and it's just more 4d chess bro, protecting us from our civil liberties (reminder he reauthorized the NDAA and Patriot Act when he could have let them.expire)

As usual, it was an EO, not legislation, so would have been overturned day 1 from Biden. Like the rest of his legacy was

Fast forward to today, and his endorsed house is trying to legislate this done, and Trump (after a meeting with Jeff Yass) wants everyone to just leave tiktok alone.

No mention of government overreach. No mention of slippery slopes. No demands to fix the bill.

You'll have to forgive me for being skeptical of his judgement when he then puts his family in charge

The proof will be in the election results. There are no more excuses (haha just kidding). Trump is the establishment of the party. The leadership is his handpicked people. Let's see how it turns out in November up and down the ballot

NY certainly seems like they are more purple than the deep blue they were 4 years ago. Trump won't pull NY, but they might lean more Red in the state/local elections than years past.

Long Island is RED as long as they run good candidates.

New Jersey is the one to keep an eye on. If that flips then you're looking at a landslide we haven't seen in quite some time.
