It may be a minor gripe, but it is blatantly obvious, which is why it's so irritating.
Either way it's the best offense in the sport, and will perhaps be the greatest of all time. So enjoy the show!

I mean there is no rush at the moment. He's under control for another 4 years after this year. But tacking on another 6 years and 220 million on top of his current contract would be nice for both sides, imo.
Does he need to steal 80 bases this year?

I would be all for it after this year. Honestly the sooner we do a deal the better with the way salaries are increasing.
Has Murphy been cleared of war crimes from last year? Or is this his prove it or lose it trial week?
If he can't steal 50+ bases he won't accumulate the 0.4 wins associated with all that extra running...and is therefore worthless as a run producer.
