Why Academics Leftists and Elitists Need to Treat Ordinary Americans With Respect

Mostly I treat your questions with a certain amount of levity. Sorry for being disrespectful.

I'm sure you have a well-founded belief that some nefarious person(s) are funding and organizing all this. Follow the money and all that jazz.

So is it Soros or BLM?

I don't blame you for not wanting to confront the failure of your entire career

You tend to run away, er, I mean, get banned from threads after being exposed a joke

A well.funded organized initiative is plausible, bit not needed to explain these events. The academic institutions in the country are a laughing stock, and the public is finally waking up to that fact

I know why highly lethal bananas are on the “NO” list, but what’s with no bagels? Just plain old antisemitism?

I'm more concerned about the no sunscreen, skin cancers a bitch. And we know most of these people are pasty white folk. I'm assuming it's some form of crunchy BS like vaccines giving autism.

I'm assuming they don't want Bagels because of people being deathly allergic to gluten they'd smell it in the air

Man there is nothing better than seeing the legitimacy collapse of the elite academic institutions

It seems to me that many of these campus warriors view protesting as something they can put on a resume.

Leaving the idiocy of wearing a mask outside, aside... F- from the professors, who have completely failed

If this was all an orchestrated ruse to get universities to cancel final exams, I’d have way more respect for that than what they’re actually protesting.

Columbia University’s president said Monday that talks with student organizers had failed to reach an agreement, and that the university will not divest from Israel — a demand that has sparked protests on college campuses across the country.

Minouche Shafik asked for those in encampment protests on campus to voluntarily disperse, saying the demonstration had created “an unwelcoming environment for many of our Jewish students and faculty,” that “external actors” have contributed to a “hostile environment” around university gates, and it had become a “noisy distraction” for students.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Hamas has a more than generous ceasefire proposal on the table (once again) to accept or reject. I predict if and when they reject, and idiots on “elite” college campuses, who definitely care about lives in Gaza, won’t update their signs/chants/demands to reflect the continuing reality that Hamas is to blame.

Update:

Days after Hamas said that it is “studying” Israel’s ceasefire proposal, the group hinted that they might reject the hostage deal which was crafted by the mediators and green-lit by Israeli authorities.

*shrugs*

Spot on. These people have no religion. Have no family. Have no jobs. So they have to invent their struggles from delusion
