Ronald Acuna Out For The Season

Winter ball has to be a problem. No rest in the offseason and continuously playing all year long cant be good. Hes now torn both ACL’s in the past 3 years.

I don’t know if that’s the reason but it can’t help. That cans trying to be Rickie Henderson on the base paths have to put a lot of wear and tear on him. Hopefully he comes back strong. He’s young to have had two major injuries.

That Ozuna club option just got really interesting. Ronald should be ready to go early next year but he’s going to need to DH a lot.

Thats what i was thinking. Ozuna has been really good and at that price they’ll pick up the option. But Acuna will need to DH quite a bit. Cheff said he wondered if the knee was bothering him bc of how bad he was at the plate. That may have been the case.

Play Ozuna in left field take the defensive hit. He just can’t throw it all. He’s not awful other than that.

Kelenic is going to have to play out of his mind and Harris is going to have to somehow learn not to chase every single pitch.

Well, he was three for four after replacing him today. The real question is whether he can hit lefties well enough. And I guess we’ll know that soon enough.

Luis Robert is coming back from a hip strain in a fee weeks and the White Sox are terrible. Could be a target at the deadline or sooner.

Well that sucks.

Robert does seem like a good target. Who are some leadoff type guys that could be available? I don't think it has to be a big bat necessarily... well, assuming our guys start hitting

So, now that we have this unfortunate news, the outfield situation for the short term is Kelenic, Harris, and Duvall for at least the short term. Is this going to be a good enough unit in the long term? We have a smart GM to do the decision making, but, it's not going to be easy to replace a guy with Ronald's ability. Adds potentially to maybe having to find someone to shore up the bottom of the rotation.
