Climate

That's the indirect way to ban travel. Force us all into electric, which our infrastructure cannot handle, and therefore rolling blackouts will keep us from moving freely.

Hell, California requires people to unplug their toasters when it gets a little hot outside

Just buy a few batteries and live off the grid (until it gets too clowdy ofc)

There’s isn’t much these days the left believes that hasn’t become a joke

I'm all for clean energy. And so should everybody, regardless of what your stance on Global Warming is. Using less resources from the planet and creating less pollution are things everyone should absolutely strive for.

But rushing us into alternative energy sources that our infrastructure clearly isn't designed to utilize is a plan that is going to fail very badly.

Electricity consumption per capita has nothing to do with reducing dirty energy.

88.2% of Norway's energy comes from Hydro. I don't understand why you think it's impossible when other countries can do it. Hell we could do it if not for NIMBY'S shutting down nuclear.

Count me in for nuclear. The climate cult isn't interested. Because that's a solution. And the climate cult agenda doesn't want a solution. They want communism

Only issue with Nuclear is that it takes close to 10 years to build.

Eh… just charge them at your home.

Which btw… is what that article proposes would be the case. The author states that 90% of the 134m would be serviced by home and work. 10% by public charges which we would need to expand by 6x by 2040 to get there which.. idk doesn’t seem crazy? Tesla probably could do it by itself

Last I read the electric grid isn't anywhere close to be able to manage that power demand
