2024 Field

Reminds of Guilliani's and Newsmax damning evidence they were going to release that proved the election was stolen. In truth, anyone who wasn't idiot knew that if they had anything at all it would been released. You don't proclaim evidence to back your story and then not provide it. If it's true you would have already released it. Or have let someone else release it.

On the other hand, it’s only May and that would be a more useful October surprise.

In politics you don’t fire bullets until the time is useful. Especially for something as loaded as that.

You don't think damning evidence was released to the public?

Yeesh.....

Of course it would lead to prices decreases - Thats why building more is stupid until we figure out what we are going to do with the tens of millions of illegals that are here.

Cerno made a great point by just taxing remittances outside of the US and many will self-deport.

I look forward to our conversations in 2028 (after Trump’s second term, beginning of this third) why these deportations never happened.

Crazy, because as we've been assured by mega maga IQ, Biden is a juggernaut candidate who would slaughter anybody not named Donald trump

Biden is a bad candidate and I’m not confident he’ll win in November, but I’m not yet concerned with the polling results. I think we’re still at a point in the cycle where the semi-independents and center-left people who dislike Biden aren’t ready to accept that they’ll eventually hold their nose and vote for him when presented the reality of Trump winning again.

Polling is typically a good indicator. And in each of the past elections, Trump has performed considerably better in the election than the polls suggested.

We'll get a good idea soon how the verdict affects his popularity. But the general consensus a week ago was most didn't believe it would affect his polling much at all.

IMO, the big factor this election is the 3rd (and 4th) party candidate is more popular than your typical 3rd party candidates (other than Bernie, but he was never technically a 3rd party candidate). And these 2 candidates together seem to pulling more voters from the left than they are the right.

Dems played us well. Felon Trump is their only chance of carrying the corpse over the finish line, despite what high IQ people insist

I don't understand this excuse making for the GOP with its eye wide open picking the worst possible candidate. No one forced or tricked them into doing it. They had choices and they make their choice. They chose the dude facing four different trials for serious crimes. It is what it is.

There was a time in 2022 where even the trunp cult was ready to hand the mantle to next.

Then the Mar a Lago raid and the indictments changed everything.

He was asked nicely and repeatedly to turn over the documents in his possession. The National Archives and FBI bent over backward to avoid having this become a legal matter. If being a scofflaw is what it takes to win the GOP presidential nomination we are in for interesting times.

I suppose it's good for the country that at least one presidential candidate wasn't deemed to be too old and feeble to prosecute such a crime
