I wouldn’t do this particular victory lap before finding out the sentencing. I wouldn’t be surprised if the consequence is a large fine.

If true Obama still isn't going to be considered a felon like Trump will possibly be so this isn't a good point.

Can we slap Obama with a Felon label too?

If the only penalty is a fine, then it looks even more like a political hit job. How many millions of dollars has been spent on this trial only for a Trump to maybe pay a 500k fine? I would surprised if the state of NY even came out even.

Anybody suggesting this wasn’t politically motivated is a clown, but that doesn’t make it a hit job. Don’t want to pay fines? Don’t illegally cover up your dirty laundry.

DO you think Trump personally approves every journal entry in the ledger?

If you do I've got news for you - You have no idea how corporations are run from a day to day perspective.

Instead of whining y'all should indict Obama in Bama and put him on trial there. I'm willing to take my chances on the folks down in Bama.

Exactly how is it not? They drummed some BS charges past the statute of limitations. They wouldn't even specifically say what crime he committed in the process. The Judge was a Biden donor and the DA literally ran for office on a promise to convict Trump. They have undoubtedly spent millions of dollars on this case in the process. It's literally the first time in history that ANY state has brought charges on someone for federal election crimes.

And all of it. ALL OF IT. For a measly fine and the opportunity to label Trump a felon.

But it wasn't a hit job.....

I would imagine Republicans respect the statute of limitations and wouldn't try to circumvent the law just because they don't like a particular politician. Not to mention, Obama paid a fine already. So that would be double jeopardy.
