In 2020 I had to turn the TV on to see if my government allowed me to go work, to the gym, to church. My wife was not allowed to work bc elective procedures were cancelled. My aunt died in a hospital and her husband wasn't allowed to visit her. She was not allowed a funeral. My cousin was.denied his senior prom. His first year of college was on zoom. My currency was destroyed

Nothing since has been close to being as bad

Who was it that said it was impressive how Trump adhered to the constitution and federalist principles during 2020 when all of this was happening?

I supose its FDR's fault for all those soliders dying on D-Day as well and over the course of the war.

Comical to think that 2020 was the worst this country has ever seen when WHILE Trump was president the country was on a good trajectory starting Q3 2020.

Its almost as if something drastically changed starting in 2021....

I can help.

It was me. Specifically when he resisted to authorize the national defense production act and when he said governors could lead their states

But then other things happened.

He caved on both of those things. He authorized the act. He pressured state governments who defied him. He clearly and articulatepy said it was the decision of the president to close the economy. And he folded on schools opening up in the fall. In October he bragged about how much he listened to President Fauci. He said he doesn't want to fire him. In January he gave fauci and award. In 2022 he called himself the father of the vaccine. In 2023 and 2024 he said he did everything right. And in 2024 he cried about the mean media not giving him more credit.

So yes, my original statements of support turned out to be unwise. Should have waited for him to fold like always

What a monster for authorization NDP when it was essential to ensure we had goods to ensure the countries safety. What a monster!

The vaccine was a great thing (as you said in real time). THe only issue with the vaccine was the mandate but you know these things already....

Can you give me an example of an order he issued that kept schools closed?

He publicly said he wanted schools open in the fall, then he publicly said they should not. His coronavirus task force, led by the esteemed Anthony fauci, who was appointed by Mr Trump, recommended schools stay closed.

Communist states throughout the country enforced that option under the cover of the guidelines from the Trump Whitehouse

To answer your question specifically. He did not order states stay closed. He does not have that authority. Much like Biden didn't order a vaccine in Mt arm. The president can't do such a thing
But they sure can influence states and businesses!

Perhaps your too high iq keeps you from understanding such a point and the critical role that trumps administration played I'm the misery of 202p
