News flash: people on a janitors salary hardly pay any taxes and generally are net recipients of fiscal transfers

I'm trying to imagine a profession more embarrassing than "PLEASE PAY OFF MY STUDENT LOAN BECAUSE ITS TOO USELESS TO ALLOW ME TO PAY IT BACK"

But I can't Come up with anything

Not that there is anything wrong with that. As a matter of fact I favor larger transfers toward low income folks

Eh...my students will be paying a lot more into the system than they take out...unlike the janitorial class

btw...i know the janitor in our building....he is an immigrant from Nepal...his daughter is attending college with the help of a student loan...he is immensely proud of her...she will be the first member of his family to graduate from college...if y'all think your kids will be better off spared from such indignities there will always be others such as this man and his daughter who see thangs differently

Have you bought BTC yet?

I remember you bragging about you mocking your students about it

But it's $70k now

Hell, I even told you on these very boards to buy at crazy level lows

Poor fella

Not really. There are a small number of whiners who don't want to compete with highly skilled and highly educated people. They'd rather sit around whining about a world leaving them behind.

Small number of whiners? The majorities forming against your vision of society grows by the day and includes many of us who have had great successes the past 5-10 years.

eh...those are paid mostly by high income taxpayers...you know the ones who got a higher education...for the most part it is highly educated people subsidizing other people's educations...doesn't make all forms of loan forgiveness good policy...but this populist notion that folks with HS educations are subsidizing dead beat college students is nonsense

the folks with lower educations collectively receive enormous transfers from the rest of us every year...no need to send flowers or a thank you note

The “rest” of us? You mean a small percentage of the population is driving that surplus value. Nobody with a degree in history or gender studies is providing surplus value.

This is absurdly inaccurate in terms of percentage of total gross wages earned which is really the only thing that matters because the population base in this bracket is enormous.
