Seems like Craig just gets a little rusty sometimes when he rests. But you don't want to overuse him either. Quite the pickle Fredi/Laird finds himself/themselves in.

That would be 16 strikeouts by Atlanta pitchers today (Harang 11, Walden 3, Kimbrel 2). Of course, Carpenter (1/3 of an inning) gets the win.

The Braves pitchers this series had an ERA of 0.96 with 41Ks and only 5 Walks. That's unbelievable. I'm starting to think that this isn't a a fluke, these guys are good. Harang is awesome, I love the guys location and command.

Gattis strikes again! That's one thing I love about having 3 catchers - Gattis is always a threat.

The best thing is Kimbrel seems to be OK. 5 K's in the last 6 batters faced.

I agree the starting pitching has been better than anyone could of have imagined. They will falter a little bit, but I suspect they will be one of the best rotations all season long.

The offense is what I am most worried about though. Can't complain too much because we are winning games though.

They wont keep it up to this level.

Still waiting for Harang to decline.

Bullpen/bench/lineup worried me more than the rotation, at least the starters.
