Imagine being so invested in getting a guy you have never met and has likely done nothing to you that it was basically your whole identity for the last 8 years and slowly coming to the realization it was all a moron magnet from the media.
 
Said it from Day 1 - These trials were all BS lawfare intended to influence the Republican primary.

They were never EVER going to turn out with a legit Trump conviction. The NY case is a joke and severely hurt the credibility of any future investigations.

Cajun/BL will disappear for good soon.

There’s no harm in rescheduling to see what happens, but if taking steps to complete the process of paying off your mistress is considered “official duties” of the President, maybe the doom-and-gloomers were right to be nervous about the ruling.

Trump should absolutely take advantage of any technicality based on this abhorrence of a 'trial'.

Its going to be overturned on appeals as is.

I don’t care if Trump takes advantage of technicalities, but no reasonable court should find that to be official conduct.

Isn’t their claim that certain evidence & testimony used against Trump shouldn’t have been allowed under this immunity ruling? I don’t think they’re arguing the hush money payment itself falls under official duties.

Yup - any technicality possible should be used to stop such an attack on justice.

Allow me to clarify: if any of the conduct he was convicted of can actually be protected under the recent SCOTUS ruling, then SCOTUS clearly ****ed up the ruling. It was absolutely a personal matter, not an official one.

isn't peace of mind so he can make good decisions as president related to his official duties

i mean a fart could fall into that categoy because not farting when the need arises could interfere with his performing his job

eh...I don't regard the Supreme Court decision as lawfare. It seems to me that the distinctions the court drew are reasonable ones and they provided some pretty good guidance to the lower courts. Not all presidential farts are immunized.

i've tried to reassure ye of weak faith that a court system where six conservative justices appointed by Republican presidents sit at the apex will ultimately be fair to your boy
