I think the algorithm purposely shows you people the opposite of yourself so you will argue with them, which drives up traffic.

Guaranteeing them a green card for a 2 year computer general studies degree hardly seems like a worthwhile endeavor. I'm not saying there isn't merit to what you are saying, but the policy as described is extremely poor.

Yeah. That part is hyperbole. But I would say any advanced degree student in computer science, engineering, etc should be accommodated if they can line up a job by graduation. Those work permits are precious. As I witnessed recently when I returned one to a student who had lost it.
