I mean it depends on the plan. We know we like to play around with slot values. it isn't like Cijntje is without talent. If Cijntje comes below slot in the first and allows us to select better guys later on than so be it. It's not my favorite plan, but it's worked for us in the past.

Like you, I know nothing about him, but the switch-pitching thing comes off as a bit of a sideshow act to me. I really don't want to hear "if" and "maybe" in a write-up about a possible first-round pick.

The more favorable write ups say he brings it from the Right side, and should "probably" see a jump in stuff from focusing on it. The LH side is a slower, loopy offering only really used if a guy is terrible hitting LHP.

"Probably" doesn't sound great.
 
FG has their mock out. I believe they will do one more.

There’s a reason I use BRef to study statistics despite FG having a better system. That entire website is a **** show.

Granted I haven't been heavily following players this year like normal so I haven't found a reason to go to FG much but I have noticed this happening for me the last few weeks. They need to get their **** togethor.
 
This draft sucks donkey balls in my opinion. More specifically the top 10 is crap. Bazzana is fine. Great chance to be an average to above average player. I loathe college players in the first round. We draft better college players in the second and third round than any other team does with first round picks. There's several HS players that I find intriguing. Rainer, Caminiti, Schmidt, Gillen, and Mayfield being my favorites. I would take all of them over any college players other than Bazzana. I could maybe be sold on Brecht. I have a lot of faith in the Braves scouting right now. I can forgive picks like Cusic or whoever that bum was we wasted a first round picks on when we also get ones like Strider and Schwellenbach. Are there any college pitchers named Spencer with a last name starting with S projected to go in rounds 2/3? I could handle a few more of those

Yeah, I’d only draft a college guy round 1 if we had a top 10 pick. Those guys can likely help you in the next 1-2 years. I like upside with high school kid if drafting in the mid 20s.
 
They can help like Arcia has helped us. The teams perennial picking on the top 10 generally stay in the top 10 precisely because they value players who help sooner like college players.

This draft sucks… it’s well documented. However if you wouldn’t take Condon, I don’t know what to tell you. The dude is a freak.
