They don't even deny his McDonald's intake and you can literally tell what he is watching and when by him rage tweeting while watching them.
I posted this on another forum as people were debating the actions of SS.
I'm sorry but there is no way this can be categorized as anything but a clear and utter failure by the security team in place.
Even if you could excuse the fact they should have been monitoring all nearby buildings with a clear line of sight. You absolutely can't excuse that by the way, but even if you could, they were made aware of the shooter's presence at least 2-3 minutes before shots were fired. I get that you don't want to shoot and kill someone who may simply be someone trying to get a better camera angle. The optics of killing an innocent person with a camera and not a gun would be beyond horrendous. I get that. I also understand you don't want to create an unnecessary panic with thousands of people in attendance. But you could have easily moved Trump off the stage in a fairly calm manner when you became of a aware of a possible threat, until you were certain if that person was indeed a threat or not.

Of course not. Please show me where in my post I came close to claiming that. I think I have a long track record here of saying I do not support Trump or think he’s worthy of this office. But the way your are comparing him to Biden is a total false equivalency. Biden clearly has an age related affliction causing serious cognitive issues from which there is no cure. Trump, for all of his other flaws, doesn’t.

Read some accounts that the sniper had the shooter in his sights for 3-4 m and wasn’t cleared to shoot. Still hasn’t been cleared once shooting started. Sniper may lose his job.
Anyone see the video of the woman just behind Trump? Never ducked and started filming right away ?
Comparing the two cognitively/mentally was always stupid.

It's just astonishing that they didn't try to protect Trump in the slightest after knowing full well that there was a legitimate threat. You may not have known completely if that person was indeed a would be shooter, but you had to know it was possible, even likely. And they left Trump out there like a sitting duck.
You can forgive certain things as individual failures had they happened separately in a vacuum. But this was just handled poorly in every facet.
