2024 Field

Have you read project 2025?

Outlawing pornography and prosecuting people for ordering the the abortion pill really isn't the domain of the Feds.

I've ready the overview but certainly not the hundreds of pages.

I'm sure there is plenty in there I would disagree with fundamentally. But I know the majority of it is moving the policy to the right, and as suspected, Trump wants nothing to do with that

Thethe also assures me that Trump is very involved in this and is just disavowwing it now to get elected.

I hope he's right. Color me skeptical that the lifelong liberal plans to change

Or maybe Trump was right to call out these big government moralist types as extremists.

The Project 2025 people pretty much takes a **** on the Constitution.

A major part of the agenda is firing the administrative state and I want to sign up for that all day every day

My general instinct is if heritage is writing it, and the media and the communists are running around with their hair on fire, it's over the target

Is your two big examples outlawing porn and prosecuting the abortion pill? Any other (big ones) that bother you?

Note, I'm asking in good faith

"Proposes that the entire federal bureaucracy, including independent agencies such as the Department of Justice, be placed under direct presidential control - an idea known as "unitary executive theory".

Nope nope nope

I think the president should be able to fire anyone in the federal government, except for congress and judiciary

This goes beyond firing employees they don't like. Having a president in control of the DOJ gives him too much power to go after his political enemies.

Perhaps, but wait until the president can actually control the DOJ with no checks and balances. Too much power in the hands of the president.

I think you bring some fair points but if you offered me the entire package there's a **** ton more good than bad

There's a reason why every lib is terrified of it

There's no good reason why we can't do the the good parts and dump the unconstitutional stuff. Just sayin'

Certainly. But Trump isn't interested in any of it, because he's a leftist

He has a plan that has similar stuff to what we want. I can't find it again because the Google search engine is doing its damnedest to tie Trump to Project 2025. Stupid partisan ****. I'll keep looking.
