Absolutely mind blowing decision. Freeman earned every penny he was demanding. Maybe chipper should have pushed the Braves front office and not freeman to take much less than he’s worth.

The move from freeman to Olson may arguably cost us 1-2 World Series.

But you know super smart people talked about ageing curves for HOF first basemen as if they were normal players.

What was he last year. I refuse to believe he regressed that much in a year. So either he tweaked his swing and can’t fix it or the pitchers found his hole in his swing with high heat and he doesn’t know how to fix it.

I think he tweaked his swing but it really doesn’t matter at this point which it is. He is unplayable yet twit keeps playing him. Put ozuna at first and have someone in the cages with him until he can handle fastballs again.

I mean you know how I feel about the FF/olson debate. Made it clear from day 1. But don’t paint a half picture here. Olson had a better track record before age 29. So not exactly the same. I hope.

I've hid my distaste for Olson well, but I'm just gonna put it out there - I don't like Matt Olson. I don't like Matt Olson at all.

I mean, if he would’ve taken the Braves offer he would’ve gotten paid what he was worth.
