Correct. Biden is dropping out because his mental gaffes became politically impossible. This isn’t D making an honorable sacrifice.

Not the move you want if you think Trump was beating Biden easily. Hillary's strategy was to help Trump so he would be the nominee so she could win easily. And we know how that turned out. She only got 2 million more votes than Trump.

This doesn't happen without pressure from Democrats. If they all rallies around him he is still in the race. Once several prominent Dems said it publicly it was over.

But he did so well and answered all the questions! Maybe he figured since he beat Medicare, there was nowhere else to go but down.
