I hope it plays out like Trumps pollster released in a memo - Harris will get an artificial bump and the typical go to agencies will put out favorable polls for her (sampling an inordinate amount of Dems in their polls) so that the D's stick with her.

It will be an absolute bloodbath come November. Harris is about as bad of a candidate as it gets for the rust belt. Maybe Shapiro can save PA (have lots of doubts he wants to get the stench of a Harris presidential run on him) but otherwise its going to be ugly.

Vance has a ways to go for him to 'inspire' people. Love his policies and overall feel of whats wrong with the world. However, unless he learns how to speak to a crows more effectively I think the 28 primary is wide open.

The Dems cheating in the past few elections have made people believe crowd sizes don't matter. Once that cheating dries up people are going to see it matters a lot to gauge enthusiasm.

Yup. From a strategic point of view those stories are better than those reminding voters of the actions, words and attributes of the guy at the top of the ticket. Vance is a distraction from the thangs voters should and will be focusing on. And those thangs are not the silly little ones like tariffs that some posters on these boards seem so persnickety about. They go to the basic character of a candidate who is a psychopath, serial criminal and sexual predator. A candidate whose delicate ego did not allow him to accept that voters had fired his sorry fat ass. Vance, mountain dew and tariffs are fluff by comparison.

Vance certainly wasn't among my top 4 choices. I think Tim Scott was a much better pick. But he's light years more likeable than Harris was a VP.

Eh, I think Vance and Harris are two sides of the same coin: out-of-touch, inauthentic grifters who don’t know how to speak in Public without someone wondering if they were made in a lab to say cliches about the other side. And neither has an ounce of natural charisma in-person.

I know his background, but he’s many years removed from them and has spent about a decade now demonizing those same people.
