I like Olson but have thought he is the key....to where we have been the last few months and where we will be in the next couple.....not to put any pressure on him....

Olson will never hit for a high average but hes gonna hit 35-40 homers with 100 rbis. Thats pretty valuable.

Yeah but you dont judge a player based on a half season when they just came off of an MVP type year. Look at Trea Turner last year. Everybody was making fun of the Phillies for signing him and he had an MVP type second half. It happens.

We’re not away from the ledge at all. Still hovering right over it in the event they don’t sustain their good play.

The most encouraging part of this game was Olson turning around 97 on the inner half of the plate. If he and Riley are fixed this team will be back to something resembling normal.
 
I thought the most encouraging part was using all of our A pen guys (2 days in a row now) even when the lead was 4 runs and B guys(Jackson and Lee) were already warming in the pen.. Just love those 3d chess moves by twit.
 
The talent of the roster will always have to overcome Dino-Snit's stupidity. That's why it's imperative the talent is performing as expected because there's no tactical help coming from the dugout to help mask anything.
