2024 Field

Credit where it’s due to the Trump team for recognizing the number one strength they could have in a debate is a live Fox News audience. Team Trump understands his limitations far better than his supporters do and a friendly crowd would cover up a lot of gaps in policy knowledge.

I hate to play the "imagine if the other side" game... but I truly can't imagine the lefts and media response had RDS won the primary, and then the GOP coerced him out to crown Trump the nominee late in the process. They would rightfully call it a coup for a dictatorship

OMG - It would be non-stop hysterics looking for precedent to cancel the election.

HAHAHAHA - Like every other debate Trump has been on against HRC/Biden.

Please, you just know thta you are supporting an empty vessel and would never want to see her on 'hostile' territory which just means anywhere but hte cozy confined of MSM/CNN/ABC.

Just sad you're acting like its anything other than that.

I think the core difference would be that there was an actual, honest-to-goodness Republican Primary process that occurred and Trump just beat the piss out of RDS. Nobody meaningfully “lost” the Democratic Primary as they all coalesced around Biden because the Dems were devoid of a genuine Presidential candidate. I’ve agreed throughout this discussion that this was wrong and the incumbent bias is a true problem in our political system. If Harris had come out and run against Biden and the people chose Biden, this would be closer to a coup. Instead Dems got bailed out by Biden looking so weak in the debate and being able to fall on his sword. The resulting developments highlight that the people prefer this direction. It’s hard to say the Elites pulled one over on the little guys when the voters are damn-near unanimously approving.

approving meaning getting assaulted non-stop by media hiding the fact its a BS process and Harris is a total empty vessel.

What does the dem primary look like if Biden announced in 2022 he was not going to run again?

I guarantee the last popular VP in history who got 0 Primary votes preceding that does not win

The party gamed the system to remove the will of the people. The biggest attack on our republic I've ever witnessed

Again - Anyone that votes for this over proven prosperity with Trump is a ****ing idiot.

Its important to remember what it was like at the start of the 2020 Democratic primary - Harris was the one being pushed all over the place until Tulsi ended her run. The system wanted Harris to win then too.

It’s kind of wild how the deep state apparently scales its powers up and down like a Marvel villain.

Properly managed government is a good thing. What we have now is intentional to rob the American people.

What everyone thought was a terrible approach by Trump will end up being brilliant.

Weird, I didn’t realize this was something one had to choose.

A choice is made through lived experiences.

You'll see this come up more and more as black americans don't buy the narrative the media is trying to shovel how she represents them in any specific way. Maybe she can go ahead and work on her code switching some more to show how fake she truly is.

Do people in marginalized communities largely reject code switching? Harris grew up in a privileged position, but her biography is littered with examples of ways in which she lived as a black woman her entire life. She must also lived as an Asian woman.

I simply cannot imagine the ignorance it takes to disregard that the daughter of two tenured professors with no ties to the East Coast chose Howard University and decades later pretend she just discovered she was black. Let alone the countless other things in her background that show she’s embraced that about herself.

Its not about privledge - Its about authenticity. She feels so comfortable amongst Black people she has to codeswitch.

Thats all you have to know.

Imagine being someone who thinks they have to speak 'dumber' when they are talking to black people and pretend like you're not racist.
