GDT 8/4: MAX ….database error special

Just turned on. the game...what in the world?! I had been optimistic with Fried starting; obviously that was misplaced.

Max's last start was July 11th. He threw 1 inning in ASG, but he hasn't had a start in 24 days.
 
Holy hell. I woke up from a nap and we’re going to lose an actual free win lmao should have given Fried a tune-up, but offense has to score. Edwin Cabrera is awful
 
Isn't it great that we've got until Tuesday night to stew about getting our butts kicked by (and splitting a series with) a last place team?
 
I will be so glad when these two months of baseball are over. This is ridiculous that we can't win a series from the Marlins.
 
And like clockwork... Lopez to the 15day back dated to Aug 2nd. Elder called up... so instead of just putting Lopez on the DL from the get go and keeping Elder up and make the Sunday start in ATL..They ****ed around and allowed a rusty and perhaps not fully healed Fried to go out and get roasted trying to throw 80 pitches because someone forgot to wake up Twit.

Don't be surprised when Fried hits the IL as well. He wasn't ready for a MLB game in the middle of a playoff push. He needed to be ramped back up properly.
 
As I said after the deadline.. hope everyone enjoys the key Holmes AND Elder starts that we will get to watch down the stretch. I get the roster crunch with pitchers.. but I think Holmes or Lee in AAA or Chavez or Jackson (not acquired) could have been a nice trade off for one of the 50 pitchers that got traded.
