2024 Field

let's do it.

one vote for every $100 paid in federal income taxes.

we have consensus! stop the presses!

Observation: Biden won over 50% of the white college educated vote in 2020. And about two-thirds of the Asian vote.

Trump just now claimed that rising sea levels from the climate crisis is a good thing because it will create more beachfront property.

Yes to this! I hope you realize how much of a realignment there has been since 2012!

Nowadays Dem voters are disproportionately highly educated ballers who pay taxes and Republican voters are disproportionately poorly educated whiners who pay little or no taxes.

I'm all for it!! Let the high taxpaying folks have a bigger vote!! Let the electoral votes of each state reflect what their residents pay in federal taxes!! Brilliant!!!

LMAO! If you believe that, you are absolutely insane.

Biden won over 50% of the college educated white vote and two-thirds of the Asian vote. Just sayin'.

Trump voters skew rural, older, less educated and lower income. Nothing wrong with that. But that's how it is. People struggling to adapt to change.

What percentage of college educated voters are taxpayers (meaning net outflows and not break even)?

A hell of a lot higher than the percentage of non-college educated voters.

Ok - What about minority populations becuase of course the split on college educated based on actual degree is striking I'd suspect meaning lots of college educated whites are actually Republican.

I do agree that 95-99% of college educated people with worthless degrees working at starbucks are voting Democrat. I just reject the notion that these are all net payers into the system.

But the funny thing is once you get into the business world you realize that most people around you are Repbulican. And guess what - They have degrees and are white!!! THE HORROR!!!

Biden won over half the vote of college educated whites. I keep saying that. Y'all haven't been paying attention. All those suburban cat ladies who went to law school, etc.

Lets stratify that to useful and useless degrees.

But you don't want to do that because its obvious what conclusions could be drawn. I'm around lots of college educated whites and they are all voting Trump.

There ARE lots of college educated whites who vote for Trump. But MORE of them voted for Biden and will be voting for Harris. How hard can this be.

I agree that MORE voted for Biden.

You are just drawing incorrect conclusions on their contributions to system. I understand you default to the idea that degree equals productive. Thats just in your academic view of the world. The reality is much different. Those gendor studies and acting degrees don't go very far in the marketplace. But you know what does? STEM/Finance/Accounting - All areas where the split is not what you think it is.

STEM/Finance is disproportionately located in places like NY City, Silicon Valley, Boston and other college towns. The voting in those areas is very blue. You're not going to find much STEM/Finance in Appalachia and rural Texas.

Btw white with college degree is one of the voting groups where Harris is outperforming Biden's 2020 numbers.

Btw #2 Finance has been designated a STEM field (as it should be given the mathematical technicality of modern finance), making STEM/Finance redundant. I recently learned that finance is pronounced differently in the South. But it is still a technical field there.

Odd - I'm in finance in NYC and yet the voting preferences are not what you think.

And now with heads of tech coming out in support of Trump there is a big "Its ok to say what you think and who you vote for".

Well finance is math effectively so sure I buy it. I have no finance/accounting degree and yet I keep getting promoted.

Imagine actually thinking non-college educated whites will vote for Harris in greater numbers than Biden.

Woo wee - I can't wait till the roosters come home on that one.
