Fried 26 pitch marathon to get through the 1st.. not many whiffs for that many pitches. Someone needs to make sure twit is not napping too long cause I still don't think Fried is 100% back.
 
Yeah - but he keeps this up, he’s not gonna get a good deal - his camp knows this - he’s gotta show he’s healthy and a badass or he’s looking at pillow city sweetheart

Right now, he’s at 38 pitches with bases loaded and nobody out in the second inning …. Better buckle the hell down
 
No excuse for that not being the second out of the inning. It's cost us a minimum of two runs at this point.

Fried basically pitched himself into a one year Blake Snell type deal. and with the QO attached, he won't have many teams going hard at him. The health will be a huge issue so I don't see any long term deals being offered.


edit -- he won't get as much as Snell though. Not after logging ~200 inning over the last 2 years
