The Biden Presidency

Anything that we say about this being not normal will somehow be construed as a conspiracy theory or something.

This.

It’s all totally normal.

What cracks me up is two months ago all these people were gonna pull the lever for that vegetable. Glasses of water

He is still dealing with the fact he supports human smugling and Jew hate.

But I guess pagans gonna pagan.

The media on fire to get him out of the race because of his unfitness now curiously unbothered by him remaining the Commander In Chief through January

Under Obama, national debt increased 95.24 % in 8 years. That is 11.905% per year for his 8 year Presidency. Under Trump, the debt increased only 16.073% through 2019 (5.36% annually). It took a global pandemic to ruin the gains he made. And yet he still left office having added only 37.66% to the national debt (or 9.416%/year), a number that still beats Obama by a fair margin.

Nothing like a Day 1 promise on Day 1,400 something

It’s a tall order defending democracy all this time and not getting around to the small stuff like managing the population coming into your borders or being active to prevent financial pain to your citizens

2020 was going to be the year where all the work done was going to show. Economy was roaring with no inflation.

Tax revenues were increasing (with lower marginal rates) and hte middle class was as strong as they've ever been.

This is hte reason the PLANdemic happened.

You don't think the 4 years coming out of the Great Recession played a factor in job growth?
The Great Recession ended in 2009. I'm looking from 2014 to 2019. Now it is true that there was more potential growth because the unemployment rate was higher at the start of that period. Balanced against that is that the Trump years saw a massive increase in the deficit due to Trump's tax cuts. In contrast the deficit was coming down during most of Obama's second term.

That's more believable if the 2020 budget wasn't already signed in October 2019

Unemployment rate was still over 8% for most of 2012. Again, you're cherry picking numbers to fit your narrative.

True. As I noted the unemployment rate at the start of the period I'm looking at was higher than at the end. Otoh, you have those massive tax cuts and the massive hole it made in federal finances. You should be able to goose the economy pretty well with that kind of profligacy.

That doesn’t conflict with what I said. 2020 was gearing up to be a monster year for the American economy.

It was also gearing up for yet another big increase in the deficit even before covid. Anyone can goose the economy by blowing a massive hole in federal finances.
