And why is Mort facing the lineup a 3rd time when Holmes could easily give you 4 innings.

Morton's actually done a good job of limiting damage after giving up a couple of early runs. The question is how long does Snit let him go? I'm concerned that Morton can't continue the high wire act much longer.

Mort was fine. I just don’t get letting a starter go back out there when you know you will pull him if he gets to a certain hitter. Just let your dominate pen cover the 2 outs mort got you and not have to worry about a bleeder scoring another run.
