Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

eh...do search on Navalny

unlike some around here i don't confuse actual for real tyranny for the ersatz variety

you're asking us to condemn some story none of us are familiar with... but all you've done is apologize for the arrest for committing the crime of criticizing our government overlords

you are a good boy!

the Navalny story is pretty well reported

not only was he arrested

he was poisoned

and eventually died in prison

actual for real oppression and tyranny

and murder as a bonus

as for the Tennessee expulsion it was also pretty well reported

but I'm not surprised at y'all's indifference given the identity of the oppressors and oppressees

I know nalvany

I don't know the random Tennessee thing

I'm against the nalvany situation. Reeks of what were doing here against Trump

All youve done tonight is apologize for and what about this government overlord arresting a citizen for criticizing him

As I've said over the years. You're a tyrant loving government cuck. And a dumb one to boot

I actually don't have a problem with the expulsion of these two legislators. I'm not a free speech absolutist. There will be no order in places like courtrooms and legislative meetings if everyone is allowed to disrupt things in the name of free speech. Similarly, I don't think free speech allows campus protestors to shut down a classroom. I guess that makes me a tyrant. I would definitely have a protestor tossed if they interrupted one of my lectures.

“What the nation is seeing is that we don’t have democracy in Tennessee — and that if we don’t act we have some very dark days ahead. And so we have to respond to this with mass movements, nonviolent movements,” he said.

“To expel voices of opposition and dissent is a signal of authoritarianism,” he added, suggesting that Tennessee’s action should “sound the alarm across the nation that we are entering into very dangerous territory.”

all this is entirely performative

just like the lady in Sunrise and the ruckus on twitter about it

yeah...i'm a full authoritarian against disruptions of public proceedings in violation of the rules of those proceedings and disruptions of a university's educational mission in violation of its rules

100% authoritarian and proud of it too

it seems to me the lady in Sunrise got what she wanted and she is to be congratulated for that

can you remind me do you approve or oppose the California government arresting someone for paddle boarding on the beach by himself?
