GDT 8/28/24: Braves @ Twins - Sale on Twinkies

Coming into tonight, Olson is hitting .264/.350/.568 (.918 OPS) in his last 33 games and 143 PAs. The offense starts to feel a lot more like last year when he was he is on a heater.
 
You have to give Snit, the coaches and all the players a lot of credit for the way they have continued to play this year.
 
So I predict a bleeder. Then someone’s baby will be abducted and the runner will steal. Then a strike out wild pitch. Runners on the corner. Then Homer.

I'm not super mad at the overturn because I thought he was out initially. But I also don't think there was convincing enough evidence to overturn based on the replays we saw. Of course, we don't know what the umps see.

And the way they have turned it around in later innings. A month ago if we were down by a run in the 7th i was turning it. This team had kicked and clawed all year and hopefully are rewarded in November.
