GDT 9/22/24: Braves @ Marlins - Holmes before we go home

Are you ****ing kidding me?? Lee just gave up back to back homers to tie it. Why the hell did Lee come back out for the 6th?? I hate Brian Snitker.
 
Fat ass Berger and Sanchez will get theirs...they are power hitters....but giving up HRs to fckn Bride and Norby is inexcusable
 
Alright - at least it’s tied and we aren’t down.

We got the top coming up - MH2 and Ozzie - good to actually have confidence in our offense again!

Not giving twit grief for Lee. Trying to set up 7th 8th. 9th. Lee just didn’t make pitches. I might have went bummer though. Just to keep fresh arms in. But running lee back out after killing the 5th wasn’t a bad managerial call. Having Prince Albert ready was good too.

I just don’t understand why they can’t game plan for the 10-15 most likely impactful decisions that might come up in an any game. There aren’t many unforeseen scenarios in most games, so plan when to pull the SP, and plan which Bp arms face which parts of the lineup, and which batters will Ph based upon the other teams B usage.

Then follow the script. It can’t be that hard to spend 1 hour before every game where the nerds help script a dozen scenarios. That alone would reduce 90% of the tactical mistakes snit makes.
 
At least the offense isn’t rolling over to take a nap like they have the rest of the season. It’s refreshing to see finally.
 
I don't know why any of you think Snit is going to be fired. There is no chance. Two guys down for the year and another three miss significant time and you are still in legit playoff contention. Especially if the rumors are true and he is eyeing retirement after 2025.

Except that this team isn’t making the playoffs. But, without Snitker costing the team a handful of games with his decision making, they’d be in great position to be.
