Yeah, we know, he committed the cardinal sin of not brown nosing Trump.
Are you just that unfamiliar with his shtick? Obviously he’s progressive, but he has done basically this exact thing since Bush was in office and seems comfortable with who he is and why. He’s also probably the only mainstream late night voice to regularly bring Democrats to task for their hypocrisy and political theater.
Of course he is bringing them to task - Because he is now on the losing side and doesn' tlike to lose.
He said nothing when OBama was instituting all of this into the foundational framework of our nation and said little early in Bidens tenure. Its only now becasue it looks like hte Democrats will face being a minority for quite some time.

The same people in the Democratic Party you say have lost the plot on our nation regularly bitch about how right-wing Stewart is, which is just ****ing silly, but has happened for years. What I’ve tended to respect Stewart for is that he seems to genuinely hold his beliefs on many things, regardless of where that belief fits politically. He’s not a moderate, but he’s generally grounded in reality and doesn’t boot lick.
The only two ways I can see someone saying this is:
1) You don’t think at any point in the past 20 years that the Dems have had a grip on power.
2) You’ve never watched Jon Stewart when it wasn’t a clip of him bashing Republicans or Fox News.
Spread lies endlessly during Obama. His jokes on democrats are sweet and innocent but when it came to republicans it was nothing but lies and stretches of truths.
He was a useful agent to poison the minds of young people during the early part of this century. Sounds like it worked on you.

I’m encouraged the left is making the incorrect conclusions on what happened just a few days ago.
If they actually did a real introspective analysis they’d be dangerous moving forward. But, they’ll continue their identity based nonsense and continue to be more marginalized by the American people.

Jon Stewart has fought hard for the families of soldiers and 9/11 victims alike, despite not owing these people a damn thing and receiving nothing in return. He also calls out Democrats equally, which is why Jon Stewart is liked by both sides of the spectrum. So pump your brakes on this nonsense.
And you clearly haven't watched Maher at all recently. He's most assuredly anti-woke. He's still Democrat, but he's a Clinton democrat, not an Obama/Biden democrat.
