still looking forward to 5% of the labor force being deported

for purely pedagogical purposes (hope y'all appreciate the alliteration)

Asking again. When does the 1 day start that Trump is supposed to end the Ukraine war. He has been conducting foreign policy for a month now and the war is still going.

If this is the **** right wing pundits are using regarding Cheney, I find it weak. While it’s being framed as potentially illegal because she’s sharing correspondence between her and her lawyer, it could very easily be an indicator of her not trusting the lawyer being paid directly by a Trump-aligned PAC. This would be backed up by her own public statements and actions regarding her lawyer, who she later fired due to not trusting him. I don’t inherently trust Hutchinson more than anybody else in this process, but I’m not sure I’d be focusing on a 20-something low level aide trusting a member of Congress over a layer paid for by the Trump team.

Yeah, conservatives are jumping the gun on a lot of stuff on Cheney when little is yet known.

The only sure thing now is that it looks like Hutchinson hasn't been truthful about a lot of things.

Yeah, Hutchinson has certainly made some contradictory claims. I’d probably hold off on blindly assuming her current claims are the lies, though. A frustrating element of basically everything with the Trump cases (and politics in general, of course) is that while Trump “supporters” are rightly pointing out the dubious characters of people in the Trump Admin after they come out against him, they’re generally happy to ignore these same people were on their side before. Trump’s detractors are guilty of the exact opposite, but I don’t often see the Trump side be asked to grapple with the fact these were lying liars that *used to* support Trump’s actions publicly.
