Verlander had a bad year but wasn’t far removed from a CY right ?

His stuff has declined a lot. K rate was at 7.4 last year. Scherzer seems like a better bet if we're looking someone like this.

I wonder how much of an affect the Twins sale is having on off-season plans? Correa, Buxton, and Lopez are 3 of the top potential trade candidates for us. But maybe new owners would be more inclined to keep them? Or maybe current ownership won't approve of any trades where they have to eat money?

I’m sure AA has checked in on em. But that’s the 1 team that could help us more than anybody else.

I don't expect anyone at this point. I think AA doesn't foresee Acuna and strider being elite this season, so he's holding money just in case they are at the break. I think it's a terrible strategy, but he isn't answering my texts to advise against it.

I think AA is going to get some good pieces but he's going to wait out the market. If AA signs Profar Grichuk and Scherzer or something along those lines is the offseason a bust?

No reliever would be bad. I like the other 3

For a team that played Soler in the OF? No. Winker is a really bad fielder but his arm is valuable. Looking at baseball savant I'd say he's kinda like what would happen if you combined Acuna's arm value and instincts with Ozuna's sprint speed.

I heard he is going to show the slide show from his 3 week vacation in Cancun at the beginning of December..immediately followed by his 3 week vacation to Saint Croix... but that he is fully back now and ready to get busy with the off season in a few more weeks.
