This isn’t governance, though, and I remain far more concerned with the people willing to blindly support the idea than Trump saying it. Trump says something absurd or bombastic twelve times a day. But if the response to him “trolling” Canada is to say “Gee, Mr. President, that sure is a swell idea you have here” that’s still a problem with your movement.

It shouldn't have to be this way but when you have an adversarial media (that holds hands with Biden until it was obvious he wasn't going to be in power any longer) then you have to do things in an unorthodox manner.

To be perfectly clear, “unorthodox” in this case is referring to the right-wing media (that doesn’t just hold hands with Donald Trump but in fact fellates him) claiming it’d be completely fine to forcefully annex our allies.
 
I have always supported merit based immigration as I think this enriches the country.

But someone who just has a basic degree in accounting doesn't cut it as we have plenty of those.

The recent ideas floating around to have a minimum threshold of salary (say 150K and scaled upwards based on job description) to be eligible I think addresses everyones concerns.

I'd imagine the additional benefit of fully COLONIZING/MODERNIZING Greenland while benefitting from their vast natural resources and geopolitical positioning is EXACTLY the win I'm anticipating here.

Its not my fault the left has no vision.

I have enough vision to see that Greenland isn’t for sale. Also, I thought Biden just spent the last 4 years making our country so indebted and weak that we’re on the verge of total societal collapse. Doesn’t that affect our ability to afford Greenland?
