Send them over here to nassau country - The Home Depot parking lots are a **** show

What if it’s both wrong to assume that the only explanation to what Elon did is secret Nazi messaging AND disingenuous to pretend it’s absurd to make the connection. There are countless ways to demonstrate thankfulness that don’t include doing the exact full motion of the Nazi salute. Elon regrettably did not choose any of those, and I don’t think he should be so incredulous that people could misinterpret it, even if not in good faith.

I think everyone is just so tired of the screaming. We went though a time where progressives accused people of putting the okie dokie (circle, 3 fingers) hand gesture as a secret nazi symbol.

people should know Elon Musk isn't not a nazi sympathizer. all the feigned outrage is just exausting and enough people are finally sick of it

he did a gesture that looked like a nazi salute, yes.

he's not a nazi. he doesn't sympathize with nazis. he's the furthest thing from a nazi.

now back to simping for people screeching "from the river to the sea"

It is absolutely absurd to make the connection and insulting to anyone that was directly in the holocaust or those that had family members impacted by it.

It completely cheapens what was actually done to the Jews and a **** ton of other peoples by the Nazis

I just think you need to pick your battles then. Instead of finding a clip of AOC with her arm outstretched, maybe engage meaningfully with the fact that comparing his gesture to a Nazi salute is not solely some fantasy, Elon just did something that genuinely looked a little bad. People do stupid **** on accident all the time, the defense for them doing stupid **** on accident isn’t to pretend it didn’t look like the thing it looked like.

Of course people are going to find the AOC counter clip bc AOC is fake screaming that Elon Musk is a nazi bc of a gesture

It'd be one thing if Brian Fuentez does it. Elon isn't a nazi sympathizer and the people accusing him such know that, and if they don't, they are too stupid to bother taking seriously

I'm also once again begging there to be 10% of public shame for communist sympathizers, of whom we have several elected politicians claiming to be.

Beyond support for communists, and support for Hamas, i couldn't give a **** about anything the claim to be concerned over

This is the **** that actually bothers me. DOGE is a genuinely questionable entity constitutionally and laughing it off as lawfare is wrong:

All three lawsuits argue that DOGE should be considered a federal advisory committee. Under the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, such a committee must represent balanced perspectives, hold all meetings publicly, and keep minutes, among other requirements.

Either DOGE is performative bull**** that we shouldn’t waste money on, or it needs to be looked at closely. Elon is not an elected official, and DOGE is not a congressionally-approved arm of the federal government. Traditionally it’d be the Republicans worried about such things.

But if your defense of Elon making his gesture involves taking a clip of someone doing an entirely different gesture, you’re not doing any better at making your point than the people calling him a Nazi. I honestly agree with *your* position on this, I but many other people have elected for really poor arguments.

if you accuse someone of being a nazi because of a gesture, then I have no problem with someone *mocking* you by showing that you've done a similar gesture.

the response is to mock the ridiculousness of it, not equate them to same things

You mean Hitler that followed authoritarian leftist principles? Or Stalin who did the same...

Seeing a pattern here....

Hitler....leftist.....

I see what you did there.

Can anybody explain what this project actually means and how the US government is involved in any way? Like are we subsidizing OpenAI or something?
