Smart of AA to keep the Curaçao contingent happy. Now we have TWO again on the roster.

He should have plenty of powder to get him if the Padres are willing to trade him. Now that he has cost certainty on the offense he might pivot that way.

Yeah, our offense was already really good, and now adding Profar - wow. Imagine upgrading Arcia too at some point. Great job AA.

I think Profar is going to cost more than we think, but it’s still the best move to make. We’ve gone quantity over quality with the other needs hoping the law of averages play in our favor but that wasn’t an option with the OF.

no way.. 32 year old who is off 1 career year is not going to be more than 15 per... I think closer to 10 per.. probably a 2 year deal in hopes he can get paid one more time at 34..

What prospects would you be comfortable moving for Cease because you’re most certainly looking for his replacement at the end of the year

I don’t see AA moving Baldwin or AJSS either

Bref shows that is his current.. but I don't personally know him so I won't argue this.

12/15/15 is very fair imo... not an overpay and not a steal for a 32 year infielder who can't play great OF and has had one good year... There is some risk with this signing.. but overall nothing team breaking.

That's not bad. I didnt figure he'd take a 1 year deal. We can live with 3 since we don't have anybody ready in the minors anytime soon.
