If we can't eventually beat good pitching, we don't need to be in the postseason.

I know. The first thing that comes to mind is bad luck...but dude, he's 4 for his last 34....it's doesn't get any worse than that.

Agreed. It just seems like last year we hit every team's ace very well and struggled vs their douchers. But it's not the case this season.
It could still be bad luck but the problem is he isn't walking.

I know. But I see enough not to want to give up completely on him. What I would do is reduce his playing time. Give Pastornicky/Pena one or two games a week at second. And bat Uggla 8th when we do play him. If Pastornicky or Pena gets hot before Uggla does, gradually increase their playing time. If none of them gets the job done, bring La Stella up in June. If none of the above work, make a trade before the deadline. This is a good team with one obvious weakness. Find a solution and we're even better.

Yea but he's striking out more than a teenager trying to get stink pink on prom night.
This team plain and simple is a huge question mark. The offense outside of Freeman is horrid and outside of Simba and Heyward the Defense is below average at best. As for the bullpen...lol CK only positive in the pen. The starting rotation is fantastic but playing above their head.
So lets make a list of where we have question marks and where we don't.
Offense=?
Defense=?
Bullpen=?
Rotation only none positive

1B=only none ? on offense
2B=not a question mark because he is done and only the Braves front office cant realize this
SS=on D a wizard but offense still a ?
3B=a somewhat ? because do we get CJ from last year or before
C=liability on D and still a ? on offense
LF= offense Jup is who he is
CF=lmao do I really need to address BJ
LF=offense ?, defense superb
Rotation=top 2 or 3 in league
Bullpen= huge ? after CK.
As is obvious we have way more question marka on this team than we dont. It is going to be a long season.

We've seem 3 years of this. Cutting his PT and moving him to the 8 hole won't help I don't think. He won't get sh*t to hit in the 8 hole.

You could do the same thing with most teams. The Marlins have more question marks or weaknesses. The team with are playing next, the Giants, have lots of issues. After that we play the defending National League champs, the Cardinals. They've sprung quite a few leaks already. That's baseball for you. There are very few teams that are strong everywhere. Those are the teams that form dynasties. There are no such teams at the moment.
