Thomas is likely safe as we need a second lefty, esp. with Avilan's struggles. Plus all the runs charged to Thomas have came with him being removed and someone else giving them up (two last night by Carpenter). Before last night he had great numbers too, just hasn't been pitching enough nor full innings so smaller sample size.
That's why I'm thinking that there may be an outside move for one. Wood is looking too good to just yank him out of the rotation (with one game exception). Course I was wrong once before, back in '54...

Called Up to the Major Leagues
with about 20 yrs of combined major league exp. There really aren't a lot of good catchers, I guess. Freaking Corky Miller was in the bigs last year, I thought it was a typo.
