It's like Trump said at the end... "well, this will make great TV"

That's literally all he cares about

What you saw was planned from the start. They want to create a narrative to give themselves an excuse to cut off Ukraine to help Daddy Vladdy. I don't know if I have ever seen anything as retarded as saying Putin who invaded Ukraine wants peace and Ukraine who are simply defending themselves don't. Putin can have peace whenever he wants. Zelensjy can't get peace he could only agree to his country being occupied while Russia rearms to take more. Thos idea that Trump is pushing that he cares about the people dying in this war is the most laughable thing. Maybe take thabup with guy attacking another country and not the guy defending his country. And to top it off Trump who ran away crying from military service insulting the guy who is actually defending his country.

Thank you for the stories of people being impacted and saddened by the 9/11 event.

But I don't recall countries sending us weapons or money.

Thats a 1 way street it seems

There is a $ value when a country sends first responders or troops to Afghanistan under NATO article 5. But I don't think it is the main point.

It seems like every world leader in existence is supporting Ukraine yet they can't seem to.move forward without the US. He can go beg for money everywhere else who claim they have his back and will be fine

Countries contributing forces to our war in Afghanistan: Australia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzogovina, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK.

Number killed from those countries: over 1,000. I won't try to put a $$ value on that.

Number killed from those countries: over 4,000. I won't try to put a $$ value on that.

I think the Trump presidency is a great learning moment. The population of the EU countries is over 500 million. They are a very wealthy and economically advanced group for the most part. What remains is the political will. I think they will be able to figure out how to manage without us. It is actually a win-win situation and an important pedagogical moment for all involved.

I also think they and Canada would be well-advised to deepen their economic and strategic ties with China. They need to get over any sentimental feelings they may have for the United States.

Why is the implications that the US must step up first?

This is a european conflict

I'm not arguing for or against the US stepping up first. You're right that the military aspect of the conflict is geographically in Europe. They have a lot more skin in the game than we do. They would foolish not to draw the appropriate conclusions and act accordingly. In terms of economic and industrial capacity, they have the resources to support Ukraine's war effort and to ensure that when negotiations begin Ukraine's bargaining position is a strong one.
