2025 Around The League Thread

Why not have Opening Day yesterday when there was nothing going on (you’ve known the dates for the N.C.A.A. tournament for a year). Instead, you do it on the same day the Sweet Sixteen starts.

Bc they're dumb. NCAA will wax mlb tonight. Mlb does get the afternoon though
 
It really is amazing that ManDick can't do the basic things to improve baseball, but does the stupid things like limiting the throw overs and ghost runners. Baseball could have easily had opening day yesterday with an off day today so the weekend series still end on Sunday and both NCAA and Baseball has their day alone.

he just continually proves he is the worst commissioner in all of sports.

The real crime is no games starting at noon. Opening day used to have games going on all ****ing day.

100%.. I like the last day of the season being all the same start times.. but opening day should be a parade of different times lasting all freaking day.

I get your regional comment and that should be embraced, but that shouldn't mean you don't try to continue to improve the national appeal. make deals with networks to televise more games and market the **** out of them and the young stars.

I don't get this at all. Ozuna/Harris/Ozzie make way more sense. also Kelenic probably should be in-between Asscia and Baldwin.. but that bottom half is weak no matter how you arrange it.

I'm hopeful kelenic and de la Cruz can be effective for a month.

Hopefully they will once they are done with their ESPN contract this year.
