Now we know why he had a career year. Can we get out of the contract?
 
All opponents must be tested this season before playing dodgers. Can't do anything to put a hiccup in the LAD vs NYY WS. Kinda playing (braves suck, so they need help), but kinda not

You can’t get out of a contract due to PED use unless the player is banned for life or there was a stipulation put in there that was approved by the MLBPA.

The big question is if it was actually PEDs or just something against the drug policy. Non-PEDs is only a 15-30 game suspension for FTO. PEDs is 80.

Of course, we’re still waiting for other sources to even confirm this.

Hopefully he was high on cocaine or something, but a huge career year last season makes me think he cheated
 
It's been long enough since it broke that I would have expected to see a second source. I guess it could be a situation where there's a follow up test pending and no one credible will go on record until that comes back?

He also broke the Perdomo D’Backs extension and was credited by Passan. So, he’s at least somewhat reputable.
