Sorry Bibi, we have an External Revenue Service to prop up. Also, what do we even get from Israel? And like we’re funding their war. Imagine the response if Ukraine said this.

The good news is we’re about to find out if the angry people at town halls are actually paid protestors because nobody will be able to afford protestors.

Why would he need to know the tariff rate on some no-name country like China? Gotcha journalism.

Really glad I bought that car Monday

Don’t be so dramatic, you can just buy American. That American-made car will be 20% more expensive eventually once they figure out how to pretend they’re not just capitalizing on the artificially high import prices, but alas.

Hypothetically if we just used our own military to import to us from this island we could make infinity money in totally not tax revenue and use it to fund the base to sell us more things for infinity dollars. Goodbye deficit.

I really think he’s guessing whether it’s additive or not

Sir, they meticulously sifted through the numbers (Googled trade deficit on goods and a list of every country in the world) and carefully calibrated their responding tariffs to maximize fairness (used the divide function in Microsoft Excel).

I think that’s the kind of language that gets you excommunicated from DOGE.

Im just waiting for thethe to chime in with the classic "not shocked you prefer ccp slave labor to american jobs"

Anyhow... sorry to the poor and middle class. Nobody gonna get hit harder

So, short of the House realizing they actually are the ones who should be handling this, what even is the endgame here? What level of domestic consumption can we possibly conjure up to replace the lost global demand for US goods (and services, which the WH conveniently neglected)? The people driving the bus absolutely have to know that and are just telling everyone to shove it and seemingly making it up as they go along anyway, so what would actually compel them to stop it?
