Sounds like a tremendous Trump win.clearly they are worse off. No one would dispute that
So many of those I’m losing track.

Bleh - alcohol is gross. Rare occasion when out with my wife or on vacation with her.We have drunk thethe on the boards tonight. He's posting all his latest programming.
We MUST protect social security and unions and manufacturing in order to protect Americans who never saved for retirement. Not doing so means you only care about the rich!!Hahahah - ok.
If you haven’t rebalanced hiur 401k as you get into age buckets then you need more help and I doubt you have anything material there without knowing to do this.
The poor and middle class has very little in 401ks and all of that is coming back anyway. It’s little bitch laptop class oeople that complained. Meanwhile China is in its worst position in decades. How does Trump get so lucky? We MUST protect social security and unions and manufacturing in order to protect Americans who never saved for retirement. Not doing so means you only care about the rich!!
And also...
The poor/middle class people who did manage to put away some money into a 401K are fucking idiots if this market crash hurt them before retirement... and whatever they did have was pennies, peons!
MAGA!
Embarrassment of having closer ties to trading partners and alienation of China. It's no surprise the MAGA cult is taking yet another victory lap on the embarrassment we just saw... but this one has to be the most hilarious of them all
Has anybody credibly claimed that other countries would keep tariffing the United States at higher rates if we decided not to tariff them at higher rates? You’re describing the expected outcome but making it sound like a master plan.EU pauses their retaliation.
How does Trump keep getting so lucky being a buffoon and having no plan?
So strange.

I thought it was just China as of yesterday, but this might not be a great sign of this administration’s use of its signature policy that I’m unclear of whether or not we’re being liberated yet.I’m pretty sure that the pause in tariffs didn’t include the EU because they didn’t come to the table originally.
Could be wrong there.
The theatrics of Trump always bother quasi psuedo-intellectuals.I thought it was just China as of yesterday, but this might not be a great sign of this administration’s use of its signature policy that I’m unclear of whether or not we’re being liberated yet.
Like DOGE I know this bothers you because your side can't do it and actual working class /middle class are going to benefit bigly by the time mid terms comes around. No longer (well, maybe in 90 days) will the world take advantage of the United States (sell us things at a price we found fair).
I didn’t know paying more for goods was a bigly-time benefit.Like DOGE I know this bothers you because your side can't do it and actual working class /middle class are going to benefit bigly by the time mid terms comes around.
We are currently at April 10th 2025 - less than100 days into the new administration. Keep asking these questions.I didn’t know paying more for goods was a bigly-time benefit.
By the way, where are all the arrests for fraud? I was told Elon uncovered quite a bit but haven’t seen any evidence of it.
If you can tout it as a victory for the Administration already, I can claim it as bullshit until they give us *any* evidence. We are currently at April 10th 2025 - less than100 days into the new administration. Keep asking these questions.
And paying more for goods? How much more with the sinking Yuan (something I've been saying for a LONG time)?
Didn't say offset all the costs - But a part of the puzzle where Americans will still have more in their pockets than they had the previous four years. But the currency devaulation is just math. The CCP will be absorbing a large portion of the tariffs as I've bene saying for a LONG time.If you can tout it as a victory for the Administration already, I can claim it as bullshit until they give us *any* evidence.
I’m also incredibly skeptical that the macroeconomic advantages that any relative change in currency valuations will translate to working class Americans so directly as to offset the price increases associated with tariffs of supply chain disruptions related to avoiding them.
