'Taxing Americans' or fighting a communist dictatorship. I think he would support democracy over that and understand that the 'tax' is really just reverting back to a system that isn't being abused by the CCP.

Its cute to label it as a tax though when in reality its just acknowledging that using slave labor is not a good idea.
 
When Trump inevitably realizes we can’t just make Chinese goods twice as expensive, what will be the justification for us stopping those tariffs? Stopping China is of course the only thing that matters after all.

We’ll still be using slave labor if we buy from other countries in the region, which is the plan.

Moving supply chain out of the CCP to crush them - Not trying to onshore everything.

News out of Vitenam/India is incredibly positive and is all part of Trumps plans.

But you guys keep defending the CCP.

And those countries as they gain more wealth will actually pay their workers more as opposed to what hte CCP does.

There are many things to criticize China about regarding the treatment of its people and their freedoms but China has been improving the life of at least *many* of its citizens as it’s gained wealth. It’s not just putting it all in a Scrooge McDuckian vault.
