GDT 4/11/25: Braves @ Rays - Elder and Baldwin Back On A MiLB Field

Baldwin has been pretty bad in every phase tonight. He can't stay up as a part time guy. We're gonna ruin our best prospect

You usually on one but this is sum dumb shyt. You could say this about 80 percent of this raggedy azz team.
 
And the other plus of playing de la Cruz everyday is he's terrible in the OF bc Arcia can outrun him. So we get terrible defense to pair with no offense
 
The only thing I can pinpoint- when Wash and EY left- the fundamental baseball and pride in the little things (accountability?!) left the building and it hasn’t come back
 
I was among a few that noticed how bad we were at situational hitting last season.

That’s a symptom of a larger issue
 
Fairbanks was available end of ST. We should see what Fairbanks and Lowe would cost. Lowe can play some LF and 2b vs rhp.
 
Bold prediction (please don’t flame me): At some point this season, the Braves will have a winning streak of 2 games.

Fellas - we got no sleep. This plus Bryce plus iggy in his pajamas - we weren’t gonna win this. We rested the pen pretty well and cleared the Elder game. Is what it is. We will get the next two. Hell- Philly only has two hits and an error going into the 9th inning.
