I’m not sure this is a path you want to go down to defend white South Africans, but I do happen to agree with you that those farmers aren’t responsible for anything others have done. I just don’t understand why that principle changes when it’s applied to a different group of innocent people.
More than offset by reduced costs elsewhere (which includes tax cuts).

Great but I think they’ll be thrilled with things like lower out of pocket costs while the US government had mechanisms to having a more balanced budget without an increase in income taxes.
Tax on consumption is not alll that bad. The irresponsible people that pay 10 dollars for a cup of coffee while others make even better coffee at home for a fraction of the cost will make it out better.
What, are there statutes of limitation on what you’re guilty of solely by association of where/when you were born? If I can find a racist South African white person murdering a black person from 29 years ago how many South African farmers can I vilify?

Im.using coffee beans as an example... its also a 10% tax on bananas, furniture, baby strollers, toasters, clothing etc. Things poor people rely on every day
It’s an increase cost that you label a “tax” - I’m just using your nomenclature.
I’d rather keep my income and then determine how I want to allocate that.
…what? My point is that innocent people are not responsible for the actions of guilty people, whether they’re white South Africans or Palestinian children.
But if we really want to talk about armies doing these things recently, Israel I guess? But spoiler alert: I don’t want any Israeli citizens harmed for the misdeeds of Netanyahu either.

No, history shows they’d just treat the Palestinians in basically the exact same manner as you’re so concerned about for the Boers or worse.
I just think the free world needed to accept some pain. I’m disappointed in the worlds shallowness and consumer driven nature.
Love that more is coming on shore. Hate that we continue to fund the CCP.
