GDT 4/21/25: Braves vs Cardinals - Kelenic moves up

So just saw on MLB that the Braves are starting with Blew-it... I don't think Twit understands that a true opener should be a platoon advantage/higher leverage reliever to take the TTO pressure off the bulk guy... So 2 of the top three hitters for the Cards are LHH... So naturally twit brings in a RHP that hasn't thrown a pitch for the Braves yet...

I mean, he can't even make the right pen decision when he has all day to decide.

I have to say, the entire argument for Snitker as the team's manager is that he's a great clubhouse guy, someone all the players like and respect, someone who can keep everything on an even keel during a long season and ensure a certain degree of harmony in the clubhouse. If he loses that, there's not a lot left for him to fall back on in terms of managerial skills.

Just maybe Snit plans on Blewitt going two innings if not three and then bringing in the lefty for second time through….
